About the resort: The Strand Pavilion is situated centrally to a vast and exciting area, brimming with attractions and activities just waiting to be explored and discovered. Extending 25m over the ocean within the deep blue crescent of False Bay, this resort offers self-catering apartments with panoramic sea and mountain views exclusive to the beautiful Cape. Enjoy all round views from the sun deck and dine in the restaurant overlooking the ocean. For the romantics, a sunset beach stroll or a brisk walk in the early mornings is definitely food for the soul. Facilities include a coffee shop, solar heated splash pool, conference facilities and restaurants. Tourist Information Centre and winelands tours - enquire at reception. Unit information: Units with balconies have the use of a gas braai and those without have the use of barbecue/braai facilities on the fourth floor (There is a fee of R25 per week for use of the gas braai). All four sleeper units have walk-in showers. Attractions: There is an indoor heated Olympic-sized (municipal) swimming pool adjacent to the resort. There is an entrance fee of R13 per adult and R7 per child between 3-7 years. Little Mermaid bar and mini gym room are situated on the fourth floor pooldeck.

Directions

From Cape Town International Airport:
Take the N2 highway to Somerset West. Travel approximately 30km's until you reach the "Broadway Boulevard" off ramp. Turn right into Broadway Boulevard. Travel through four sets of traffic lights and look out for the Strand Golf Course signboard. Turn right at Strand Golf Course - this is Beach Road. Travel along this road into the Strand. The Strand Pavilion is the only building situated on the righthand side of Beach Road extending out into the sea.
