About the resort:
The resort has secure parking and a 24 hour security guard on site. This resort is linked to Pick 'n Pay Online Shopping, just another way of making your holiday more convenient. To pre-order or order while on holiday, simply visit www.picknpay.co.za or fax your order to 0860 40 40 40, or phone 0860 30 30 30. Your groceries will be delivered to your unit after check-in or during your stay.

Attractions:
Durban Spa offers a host of facilities including an indoor heated pool, sauna, braai facilities, pool, table tennis and video games. Take a trip to Umgeni Bird Park, which houses the most exotic birds with bird shows daily at 11h00 and 14h00 except on Mondays (+27 31 579 4600). Ushaka Marine World features daily shows at 10h15, 11h45 and 14h30. Sharks are fed at 12h30 (+27 31 337 3536). One can find numerous restaurants and bars along the Durban beachfront and in Berea. The ice rink 'Ice World' opens every two hours from 12h15 (+27 31 332 4597). There is an amusement park along the beachfront, as well as the beachfront flea market, hosted every Sunday along the promenade of North Beach. Jogging, riding and cycling can be enjoyed for up to 6km along the beach front promenade. Use the Mynah Bus for short stops, or call on a variety of taxi services (please enquire at reception desk for preferred vendors).

From King Shaka International Airport:
Take the N2 South and follow the Durban City signs. Continue along the N2 and take the R102 To Durban City Centre. Turn left into West Street. Turn right into Gillespie Street. Durban Spa is situated on the left side just past the Bazaar.

From Johannesburg:
Take the N3 highway into Durban. Go past the Pavilion Shopping Centre in Westville and take the City Centre lane. Continue straight into Commercial Road and continue until you reach Brickhill Road. Turn right into Brickhill Road and at the next traffic lights turn left into Dr. Pixley Kaseme Street (previously West Street). At the next traffic lights turn right into Gillespie Street. Durban Spa is situated on the left hand side just past the Bazaar where you turn left into Brighton Place Street. Durban Spa is the big blue building on the right.
