The main activity is 14 walks through the indigenous forest, up mountains to lookout points and to the base of waterfalls. Mount Sheba is a nature reserve and the emphasis is on enjoying the natural splendour. Additional facilities include snooker/pool, darts, table tennis, tennis racquets and fly fishing rods. Chandelier Restaurant - Bookings are essential.

Unit facilities:
Units 11-16 and 18-20 are 1 bedroom, 2 sleeper units with a king size bed and 1 bathroom.
The 2 bedroom units have 1 king size bed in the downstairs main bedroom and 4 single beds in the upstairs children's bedroom.
Unit 17 has 1 king size bed in the main bedroom en-suite, and 2 single beds in the second room with a second bathroom.

The road to the resort is 10km, the first 7 km is a rough gravel road and the last 3 km is tarred. Not recommended for "low profile" cars.

Guest are advised to drive carefully to the resort as the municipal roads are in bad condition

Please note that this resort is very quiet and children's facilities are limited.

No cellular coverage for CellC and Vodacom (Limited coverage on MTN).

Resort is at high Altitude (1680m above sea level) and situated in an indigenous rainforest. Cold nights will be experienced in winter and chilly in summer.

From Johannesburg:
Take the N12 highway to Witbank, which joins with the N4 highway. Travel on the N4 highway (please note this is a toll road) in the direction of Middelburg / Nelspruit. Approximately 70km after Middelburg turn towards Belfast. From Belfast travel on the R540 through Dullstroom to Lydenburg. From Lydenburg follow the R36 in the direction of Ohrigstad. 30km outside of Lydenburg turn right onto the R533 (Pilgrims Rest). Travel 14km, turn right at the Mount Sheba turn off and travel for 10km on a rough dirt road to the resort. Please note that the first 7km's to the resort is a district dirt road and not kept in a very good condition. The last 3km's is a hard surfaced road through the Mount Sheba Nature Reserve.
