About the resort:
Breakers is situated close to all the main beaches, shopping centres, bars and restaurants of Umhlanga. The resort has a restaurant, bar, coffee shop and conference facility on-site. We also offer entertainment and activities for adults and children including pool tables, table tennis, gym, and action cricket.

Your exchange is strictly not transferrable for commercial gain and should you use your exchange for such purposes, your RCI membership will immediately be cancelled without any booking and membership fee refund.

Resorts are required to check proof of Identity upon check in.

Key/breakage deposit will be credited to guest's bank account within 30 days of departure.

No smoking is allowed inside the rooms.

There is a communal braai facility at the pool area available from 17h00 only. * If members do not have a smart card, one may be hired at a nominal fee from reception. * Due to past years experience during weeks 47,48, & 49 the resort has decided to charge R1000.00 breakage deposit. Underage persons, not accompanied by parents (staying the full duration of the holiday) will not be able to take occupation. Only "family holidays" will be permitted over this time.

The resort will not allow any underage persons to check-in without a parent present.

Management reserves the right to deny occupation to persons failing to comply with rules and regulations.

**Please be advised that the resort is currently painting the exterior walls of the building. It is expected that there will be noise. This process involves the contractors to be on the scaffolding, which will pass by the room windows, this will cause some disturbance. The contractors will be working between 9am and 5 pm. 4th floor balcony units – Please note that the scaffolding may be parked on your balcony during the night. **

** Please note that the Breakers Resort will be removing the tennis court and building swimming pools in it’s place. Construction will begin on the 13/06/11 and will last for approximately 6 months. There will be a certain amount of noise during this time. ** (Updated 10 June 2011)

Travelling from Johannesburg:
Follow the N3 highway and take the Stanger (N2 North) off-ramp. Continue until you exit at the Umhlanga off ramp. At the traffic lights turn right onto the M41 and stay in the middle lane. Pass the exit to Umhlanga Ridge/Gateway and take the Umhlanga (M12) glide off. Turn left at the traffic lights into Umhlanga Rocks Drive. Follow the Umhlanga signage at the second circle and travel down towards the sea. At the fourth set of traffic lights turn left into Lagoon Drive. Breakers Resort is situated on the right hand side at the very end of Lagoon Drive.

From King Shaka International Airport:
From the airport continue straight on into N2 highway for 5.97km. Continue along Ushukela Drive (M43) for approximately 1km to get onto the N2. Go through the Tollgate and get on the N2 South (Durban) bound travelling for 16.23km to the M41 turnoff. Take the M41 turnoff to Umhlanga Rocks. At the traffic lights, turn left. Take the second off ramp to the left to Umhlanga Rocks Drive (M12). Turn left at the robot and continue along Umhlanga Rocks Drive for 2.49km where you will turn right at the second circle into Lighthouse Road, going down towards the sea. At the 4th robot turn left into Lagoon Drive. Breakers is the last building on the right hand side.
